Wow that is so beautiful I am interested in the bench shield for my lampworking as I find wearing Diddies over my normal glasses can be a bit much, So loved that humming bird you are so clever.

Nice Very Nice
i like the way you pile on the glass when you pull the wings
and im guessing Borosilicate, to be out of the flame that long without any problems...

Hi, Very nice !!! I just got into making glass beads. I can say it is not eazy ! Your little birds are so cute. can you tell me what type of glass you are working with to make your birds ? Thank you for sharing ! :)

Why do you prefer the Lab Shield to wearing glasses? Does it offer equal protection as you maneuver?

I like the bench shield because it allows me to wear my prescription glasses, without having to wear another pair of didymium glasses over the top of them. I find the bench shield works great for making beads and small items, but when I work on larger sculptures. I still wear a pair of Phillips didymiums over the top of my prescription lenses.

Roger,
Could you please tell me where I can buy the bench shield you use? I've been using welder's glasses, but my vision now requires that I wear regular glasses. Thanks!

Sure Frank, I purchased the bench shield that I use in the video from Frantz Art Glass. This bench shield is made by Phillips Lens products.
If there is anything else I can help with, just let me know.

I would like to thank all of the viewers for their support and comments. It makes doing this worth while. There will be more lampworking videos and demonstrations coming in the near future.
Thank you!
