Yes, super glue can be used, as well as PVA...it just depends upon the project...Sometimes, I find that I may not have wanted to glue the piece where I thought it was going...it's harder to break the bond with super glue, but the No Days fusing adhesive can simply be heated and moved.

I just use super glue, PVA can be used also. Less messing about.
