  • A brilliant double-act, one set of moods and attitudes throwing the other into relief .I loved the tumbling scrambling flowing rhyming bravado of dashpoet and Lina's more measured and stately delivery with its strong sense of irony, even mockery. Her medicine cabinet is an eerie double of the one in this house :)

  • @cavafyinenglish Thank you, glad you enjoyed it, we certainly did. Mocking? Moi?:-)

  • Poetry lives!

  • @longhairred Yes!...and there is no life without poetry. Thank you. :-)

  • This was a ton of fun to watch: poets in their natural habitat (you are in a bar, aren't you?) There is something really cool about seeing a "live" reading--even a filmed one. Hope there are more to come.

  • @tinySpectacle Thank you. Not long 'til June.... I'll have the camera with me!

  • Are you certain this is a poetry reading?

Where is the ankle deep filth and vomitus?

Where are the howls and catcalls?

And not once does anyone dodge a flying empty!

  • @MsWriteNow Hi, you do open mikes too? Be great to see sometime. H.

  • I love listening and performing at open mikes! Thanks for sharing this, it's so encouraging to see that poetry open mikes do take place. Great reads to you both :)

  • @nordicsky Many thanks for your comments. Yes, it was our first open mike and we both felt very good being there. By the way, I sat 'cos I couldn't take the bright light in my eyes. Don't think you missed much, my arthritic joints don't move as they once did. ;)
