Improviz's CLK55 AMG vs stock '02 BMW M5, dig

My 2001 Mercedes CLK55 vs a stock 2002 E39 BMW M5 from a standing start, in a 0.4 mile run. CLK55 is totally stock except for 18" E55 rims/275s on rear.

Looks like the BMW starts to catch you in high speeds? What is the 1/4 time with your CLK?

@miksirikoitsen No, it wasn't catching up, it's the camera angle, and it plays this trick in both directions; if you look at the early part of the race it looks like the cars are even, even though I was actually in front the whole way. 1/4 mile times for 208 CLK55s are in the low-mid 13's at 107-109, it varies.

Is that a W208 CLK55? I have a 04 CLK55 and i love it suprise people all the time including my friend in his E46 M3 he couldnt believe how i pulled him on the hwy but i had to race him for him to be a believer!

Yes, it is a 208!.

What do you have done to yours? I have a 04 W209 CLK55 and i must say she is a beast ive taken out few nice car including E46 M3s, C32s, E39 M5s. They run alot better then people think!

Nada, she's stock.  Only thing I did is put W210 E55 18" rims (same pattern as the 208's, just allow wider tires) w/275's on the back due to excessive spin.

thats not a suprise man the clk has a lot of torque. i have an 03 plate and raced a 03 plate manuel m3 supercharge with 480 bhp but he only managed to pull away 1/4 of a car after 100 mph.
