I would rather believe an American Soldier that has been over there, then some reporter on the evening news.

He believed the war was illegal, unwinable and immoral to begin with. He has the credentials to give his opinion. One cannot discount his testimony. I think what he believes is true, is open to question. but not indicitive of what he would claim to be immoral. Without counter testimony etc.etc. there is no questioning of the events, only his testimony.
