Resistance 2 Trailer (Shattered History)

this game ships nov. 4th 2008, and it will be incredible. Sixty player online battles, eight player co-op, and an amazing single player campaign. This trailer illustrates the alternate timeline in which resistance takes place. If you want my theory, chimera are human-alien hybrids formed by the russians doing experiments on humans with the alien DNA they recovered from a crashed alien ship, the ship crashing caused the Tunguska event. Will Hale and his fellow Sentinels be able to save America and the world, or is humanity doomed?

yeah, daedalus says "soon your skies will shine with our stars" and "if you knew what was comeing, you would do anything to reach the other side" and "they are calling to us" your theory makes all this make sense. they must be the mysterious third species, though if u ask me, there is no third species, it's humans

i dont understand the story very well ( i dont own the ps3) however im considering to get it , but do you recommend tomy get a ps3? , imean , what other games apart from resistance series are good enough to wort the ps3 ?

Here's my thought on story: millions of years ago, Chimera ruled the Galaxy, but got pwned in a war against another species and had to take refuge on Earth, where they hid for 60 million years until the 1950s when they came out. My believe of their intentions, up till the end of Resistance 2, is to conquer Earth, turn its population into a ass kicking Chimeran army and take the fight to the enemy homeworld, which i suspect to be the planet seen in the ending. Any other ideas?

@starwarsgeek101 they may have already actually because after deadalus took over two years before a majority of resistance 2 took place he changed everything. He changed the chimeran hierarchy and caused the chimera to evolve to not rely on cold climate. Also according to one of the intels in resistance retribution, some of the chimera specifically evolved to tolerate hot climates
