I used to travel regularly from Bamako to Mopti in Mali. I would almost always take a side trip to Sangha, near Bandiagara, in Dogon country which is pretty close to Mopti so I've been there many times. But only once in all my visits there was I lucky enough to be there during what they said is a decennial mask dancing celebration in which they dance all of their famous masks: Kanaga, sirige (aka 7-meters), rabbit, walu, monkey, satimbe (woman on top), hyena. I got a seat on top of a house next to where one of the many groups were dancing so I took this video.
