  • USMC F.A.S.T. training schooled us in the use of high retention, not low over-the-holster, as was taught in the police academy for many years. While you make a valid point in using the free hand to defend against attack, the purpose of this video was exclusively to showcase the 070 holster from the surrender position.

  • in acadamy we did this and had to fire while our hand was swinging and we started at about 2 feet from the target and had to roll step back with first double tap to the lower chest 2nd doubel tap to the upper chest and ther last was a double tap to the head

  • Work on the draw could be faster. Good things he did was reholster without looking down and secured his weapon very nicely done.

  • Wrong exercise! First - shooting hand is too high, and Second - left hand must protect your face and head. This is CQC type of shooting - when opponent is too close for standard stance, and he can attack you. Knife in the neck or punch in the face - that is what this shooting must prevent.

  • @damarei 'you'll send a round into the ground' or into ur foot :( but feel to take the safety off anytime u please...

  • @getfitdit

HURR DERP, unless you're crossdrawing, or taking the safety off while the gun is still in your pants, how is this a dangerous thing? If anything, you'll send a round into the ground in front of your target.

  • @damarei For safety reasons, you never 'disengage' any gun as you are drawing it from a holster due to the danger of accidental discharge

  • @damarei I would bet it's so you don't discharge during the draw.

  • Very nice draw with that holster. Where at in Cali? I noticed the CVC 10851 in the name.
