@joshuabolt when hes older he'll be creative and smooth, right now hes just raw, volitile guitar shredding skills

dude.. get out of my yard, and stay out of it. that was sick.

@joshuabolt listen to his original stuff from his myspace, i was reluctant to do it myself ( mostly because i hate myspace and when people try to get you to go to other websites from youtube XD) but when i finally found him on there he has some really good stuff.

The Chet Atkins at 5:45 shows how difficult CGP's music was, the very talented kid has a long way to go in trying to emulate Mr. Guitar. He misses some of the melodic syncopations, where is the legato, the voice-leading is non-existent, and the tempo speeds up. All that shred stuff sounds impressive but you cant hum the tune and it doesn't stick in ur head so it is not memorable.

He's 12 and a good kid. I've hosted a few of his clinics at West LA Music in Los Angeles. For those who knock him because he isnt original or musical, remember... its a twelve year old. A 12 year old that can play circles around you bitter asses all day long.
