My son's high school just performed Guys and Dolls and I can't the whole show out of my head. It's on TCM April 3rd at 5:30pm.

I'm very nostalgic of that era. I'm 19, and an aspiring filmmaker who loves movies from all eras (even silent). I love actors like Marlon Brando, James Dean, James Cagney, Humphrey Bogart and Peter O' Toole. I'm just getting into Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra. Sinatra was good in this, but did you know he wanted the role of Sky Masterson (Brando's character) in the film? Anyway I saw this friday and loved Brando and Jean Simmons' songs in the film.

I love how this scene got this boy to finally make a move. We are both in choir in High School and we have this thing coming up where we take musicals and broadway and perform them on stage. I asked him if he wanted to do a duet and he agreed to come over and we hung out for 5 hours last night and he picked this song, we listened to it a few times and when it got to the kissing scene I giggled a little and then the slap we both laughed and long story short he kissed me and were both very happy!

I can't wait to do Guys and Dolls as Sky. Thing is the girl playing Sarah is in 7th grade, I'm in 10th :L
