  • The thing is the existence of extra terrestials is not unreasonable, its the rest of it that is unlikely.

  • Great show and great British comedy but i dont know WHY they decided to use a laughter track! I thought the accursed laugh track was relegated to the drivel of American television, only American viewers are so absent minded they need their tv shows to actually cue them when something is deemed funny and alert them to laugh at it =D! Im joking of course but still, this sketch would be funnier if there was no laughter track and viewers could simply take in the satirity of the serious situation.

  • Who thinks David looks like Napoleon Solo from "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.?"

  • @Mangina9000 Yeah I thought it was a weird comment, lots of British and American comedies dont use laughter tracks so if anything I think it was just an unfair pop at America... personally I prefer British comedy but I guess thats just because I can associate with it more culturally.

  • @Hallerz212 I'm an American who's watched plenty of British television. They used laugh tracks all the time, especially during the golden age of sitcoms. I wish the canned laughter would be canned myself. Big Train is an example of a great show that didn't need it to be funny. The comedians used the awkward silences for comedic effect.

  • Drake's equation pretty much states that there is alien life somewhere, just not anywhere around here.

  • Love it.

  • @Hallerz212 its an audience not a laughter track :P

  • @Vidyaherp yeah great k, iv said why id find it funnier, either you're trolling or you're just actually this pedantic. K bye.

  • @Hallerz212 Great. Again, why would the CONTENT of the sketch be funnier if a live audience was not laughing at it? You don't seem to differentiate between the sketch and how you interpret it alongside laughter.

  • @Hallerz212 Blackadder, one of the greatest original British comedies, used a laugh track, and popularized the use of the laugh track in TV comedy. The laugh track is a staple of British comedy and has been for a long time. American comedy doesn't actually have the humour to back it up, so we're still fine.

  • @sciences8

Believe it exists... not believe it as in I think it will succeed or something.
