One hundred and fourty videos and counting so something a little special today. Here we see the last 777-300ER to be delivered to Air Canada landing on runway 06R at Montreal's Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport. This aircraft features a special Winter Olympics paint scheme since Air Canada is the official airline of the 2010 Winter Olympic games in Vancouver. This video has been recorded in HD which the format that I am planning to swtich to in about a month or so.

  • Air Canada still have Boeing 747-400?

  • @RubixxCubes No - the last ones were retired in 2005.

  • @YULspotter And A340's?

  • @RubixxCubes The lat A340 left the fleet a few years ago. For long haul flying, Air Canada has a mix of B767-300, A330-300, B777-200 and B777-300's.

  • Any one know what they are doing to the livery after the olympics?

  • The Olympics colours are actually decals (stickers) and they will likely be removed after the Olympics.

  • AWESOME !! Air Canada rocks =)

  • This may sound weird, but the 777-300 looks really macho for a plane. lol

  • @YULspotter Shame :( best livery in the fleet

  • @YULspotter Somehow, while watching this particular approach, it occured to me just how HUGE this plane is with *only* two (HUGE) engines! This Must Be The Limit in airliner design with two engines, but I said that after the 767. Very nice collection of videos you've got! I first solo'd in a C150 Aerobat in 1976 and I like the new Sport Light category a lot these days, as it is about the only affordable way for many folks to fly left front seat.

    Happy flying, and Blessed 'Be!

  • @YULspotter Are you sure? I remember seeing them in Vancouver - Hong Kong

  • You want to see every game on live from the comfort of your home ? watch them here

  • OH! Thanks for the info. Then again, it is sort of awkward leaving it on after the Olympics. I was a little patriotic so i went and brought a 1:400 model of CFIVS. Now its even more worth while knowing the decals will be taking off.
