The American artist Robert Rauschenberg is one of the forerunners of Pop Art in the 20th Century and was primarily known by his collages, in which he realized a reunion of the artistic image reality through the integration of real images. So he combined in his works such as tennis balls, car tires and stuffed goats on behind ingenious way. Unlike other "material artists", he didn't change this material of the "real world" and left them as they are.

In the gallery Hans Mayer in Dusseldorf Rauschenberg drew up his only installation in Germany from car parts and consisted of a road barrier. ................ Institut für Kunstdokumentation und Szenografie

  • I've been to his exposition in June 2007 á Paris Centre-Georges-Pompidou. he its a load of crap. he simply makes fun about people who think that everything in a museum is art and that it is simply a reflection of the taste of the society. at the exit of the exhibition there was a sign: I never considered myself as an artist and blablba
