@LNSmithee I need to see the movie before I comment. I was paying really , really close attention in 2000. Did they make a huge deal out of the Republican congressional aides who protested at the canvassing board? They made a big deal about that then. A bunch of guys in suits, real scary.
The democrats had a stranglehold on the media then , and they still couldn't steal the election. Fox news was not nationwide in 2000.
The democrats and the media tried to give the election to Gore, PERIOD.

@JRCKFSH It is pure fiction. Among lies: Karl Rove had no connection to pro-Bush protests, it was all grassroots (mainly Free Republic). The portrayal of the an angry mob of young Pubbies storming a vote-counting session is a ridiculous. And because they're liberals, the filmmakers pretend that leftists never get loud, disrespectful, or violent when expressing free speech, only conservatives. The diff between the Tea Party gatherings and the lawless Occupy movement disprove that myth.

I have never seen this film.
I would bet anything it completely misrepresents the election aftermath.
The media spun this story for 30+ days after the election. They did everything they could do to steal the election. They failed because Bush won.
8 years later Hollywood is going to make a movie about it and it's not going to be a hachet job? Their stories just got better with age , so I am sure this movie is pure fiction.
