Fisichella must be one of the most underrated tenors of recent time. Many attributes place him among the greats - superb phrasing, excellent drama, beautiful musical line. Shades of Bergonzi and Pippo. Best in Bellini, but this is outstanding as well, easily surpassing most currently celebrated tenors blessed with regular Metropolitan engagements.
