  • the problem is so much bigger than that. a car was probably involved in transporting her and others to the roundtable, the clothes she's wearing probably contain either fossil-fuel derived synthetic fibers or fossil-fuel industrial farmed cotton. etc etc. i personally try to avoid things like plastic bottled water just because it does look kind of bad and in theory if everyone did it it would work. but its mostly just a gesture and not hugely important when taken in context with everything else

  • how does her plastic bottle fit into the discussion of ecology?
