Ron Jeremy backstage at the Deja Vu Midway Showgirls in San Diego, CA, for their 20th anniversary. Ron plugs his new website http://RonDeJeremy.com/ for Reviewer Magazine. He MC'd the event and did a standup act where he told jokes and gave away DVDs with another headline male adult star... The girls were really up this night. By "up" I mean hyper and vocal. The crowd of mostly military guys was into it too but the girls this night were really going off.

Jeremy is a true social icon and his name is synonymous with adult entertainment like no one else ever in American history except for maybe Larry Flynt and Traci Lords. He was really a pro and the moment he went on stage it was like flipping on a light for both he and the crowd. Onstage he made a lot of funny off-color jokes to the adult crowd but avoided profanity and while on video smoothly substituted whistle sound effects for words like "fucking" that would come up in conversation. It was actually really cool to watch this living social icon at work.
