This is the Memorial service video to honor Gerson David Tejeda. For all of his friends and family. For those who did not know him, read and you will understand.

Gerson David Tejeda was born in New York City on January 18, 1994 to Felix Tejeda and Flaudia Tavarez De Tejeda. When he was born, he had 2 bothers and 1 sister, Felix Jr, Daniel and Elizabeth.

He started out his education at Public School 89 on Mace Avenue.
While attending P.S. 89, Gerson experienced the attack of the world trade center; when Gerson and his fellow students were evacuated to a different school; and waited innocently for his family to pick him up.

Gerson then attended New York City Lab school, a junior high school. There he grew and developed an interest in environmental studies.

Gerson traveled to his family's native country of the Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo. Then returning for several summer vacations, he experienced the cheerful freedom Dominican children lives every day.

Gerson had an unexplainable love towards Dominican food to the extent where he would request his loving mother to cook him a moro de habichuela for the next day, while the plate on his hand was still full.

Gerson loved to minister onto his Lord Christ and playing drums at Iglesia De Dios En Cristo La Senda in Bronx New York.

Gerson also participated in school concerts, where he shared his love for the drums and music.

His favorite Christian singer was Toby Mac, who Gerson personally met on one occasion prior to a concert.

Gerson's high school experience was rewarding in many aspects. At the High School Of Environmental Studies, Gerson David Tejeda, continually grew in knowledge of our environment.

His focus expanded from meteorologist to an engineer. His desire of engineer inspired him to travel to Boston, specifically Northeastern University where he was able to build a bridge using a computer program and was the only one who accomplished a feat of piercing a balloon without popping it, after first dipping a long pin into a special solution.

Gerson David Tejeda set a goal of attending a university where he would build a path to accomplish his dream. Now, he is with our Lord; the Great Architect of our Universe.

Gerson David Tejeda was a brilliant and focused young man. Though his time here was short, his many titles included beloved grandson, cherished son, treasured brother, esteemed uncle, respected minister of the gospel and valued friend.

Most of all, he was a son of our Lord. On Nov 20 2008, Gerson had cheerfully accepted our Lord, Jesus Christ has his savior.

We are all grateful to have fond memories with Gerson and he will surely be missed, and remembered forever by his family, his friends, Pastora Pura Solomon and his congregation until we see him again in the Kingdom of our Lord.
