I'm from Yuba City and a very proud Honker. I'm also a huge A's fan and couldn't be happier that the A's drafted him. I can't wait to see him playing in green and gold. He's representing YC like it should be, we are all proud of him. Keep it up Max

This kid is good but he didn't hit it 470-480 ft. probably not even 420. Guys in the majors do not hit it that far on a day to day basis

o yea he did all that when he was a sophomore

faced this guy in high school...he hit 2 homers in only 3-4 at bats. one was about 420 ft to straight center and the other had to have been like 470-480 to right center. this dude is legit and hes built like a true catcher unlike some of these 6-3 or 6-4 dudes ive seen lately. he can pitch too...hes got a nice arm but i was able to get a hit off him.
