"Inherit the Wind" does have a anna-Barbera conneciton, which can be found in the princes's voice [it was written by Robert E.Lee--no, not the Southern general--but the playwright, husband of actgress Janet Waldo no less.]

Se me pone la piel de gallina, mi infancia en Cuba, este film formo parte de mi infancia y lo he estado buscando por años. Mil gracias por tan bonito recuerdo.

@MeiMeiallday There are still well-made films. You just have to look for them,
Also, "Inherit The Wind," in which Gene Kelly co-starred as a newspaper reporter, in the fictional re-telling of the Scopes "Monkey Trial," of a teacher on trial for teaching evolution, was hardly a "feel-good" film, although Kelly's character in the film, along with lead Spencer Tracy, did display some humor.

In July 1429 Joan of Arc had led a French army to lay seige for 4 days to the town of Troyes in Ch-Ardenne ( which was under English rule). Joans army was running out of food but fortunately, months earlier, there had been a wandering Friar; Brother Richard, who had been preaching that the world would end.For some strange reason the residents had responded by planting early beans. These happened to be ready and so the army ate them. Did the residents hope to climb up bean stalks to heaven ?

what does jack say at 9:00 to make gene kelly laugh and lose his hat?

Gene Kelly still looked pretty damn good for '67 (the year, not his age). The shoe-black hair isn't fooling anybody, but who cares?
I saw this as a kid and have never seen it since till now. They did New Adventures Of Huck Finn in same way and that is just as rare. Thanks.
