Way too hot. 223F = 106.11C If you were wondering, I installed Fan Control on this machine, and was pushing the fans to 6000rpm, which is close to the max I believe. I know I do a lot of video editing on this machine, but still...

  • While I do dislike apple products its generally understood that you do actual video editing on a proper workstation, not a laptop.

  • Return it and get a desktop mac

  • mine gets about 200 degrees just playing flash games

  • The stock thermal paste application on these machines is shoddy. Redo it , it might help you, i'm going to do it on my mbp

  • what do you use for showing the temperature on your mac?

  • wow damn thats hawt ... i am guessing the "15" or "17"mbp would have been best for you because of the more spread out area and the wider fan grills .

    however saying that everyone has a budget ! so i guess if you could afford one then ... you can afford it

  • @LucifersDisciple6 funny that because i have an alienware laptop best built laptop ive ever had and it doesnt go above 50c, can tell youve never had an alienware laptop

  • @PSNdomgul58 Alienware is terrible, their case only looks nice but are poorly made
