Mike Matthews and his son Owen rock The new EH 22 Caliber guitar amp head. Fits in your pocket but delivers the perfect sound for gigging and rehearsal. Mike and Owen deliver part one of what makes the EH the creative force that it is today and why the 22 Caliber is a life saver for the working musician..

  • I think it's hilarious how many tubes ehx makes and they always make solid state amps

  • Actually, this is the second solid state amp. All of the ELECTRO-HARMONIX amps previously, save one, were valve amps. Great sounding amps that are now collector's favorites. They do have the portable amp that runs on batteries, which is/was? a great gigging amp.

If you want to build a palm sized amp with tubes...good luck. The micing was not good but seeing the owner, who is a musical instrument legend and his son... that is cool. A tonal complaint of an funny amp video is really reaching.

  • I wanna party with Mike!!

  • @guitarbutt do you even know who Mike Matthews is?

  • Cool it' the "Nature Boy" Rick Flair!

  • Mike needs to put on a more modest shirt. haha!! Wish there were more vids of the 44 caliber tho.

  • gay

  • @chaffel3 Shows how much you know dumbass.

  • fuck yeah, Mike is so badass.

  • @NvdVen 22 Caliber and 44 Magnum are different in a self explanatory way. 22 is a 22-watt, and 44 is a 44-watt amp. NOTE: Power amps, and should be treated as such.

  • what is the difference between the 22 and 44 caliber? thanks!

  • This is NOT a head.

    It is a power amp.

    a cool one.

    POWER AMP.
