jfk and lbj was a shotgun wedding- the democratic party in those days was split- southern democrats very conservative against civil rights- the liberal wing that kennedy represented needed lbj to get elected- but with lbj one heart beat away from the presidency it was very dangerous for jfk- the backers of lbj hated kennedy- nixon and reagan used those southern democratic votes to get elected-remember old george wallace and sen russell were dems back then- texas was a dangerous place for jfk

worth texas in the early sixties- basically a cow town that the oil men and racket boss benny binion ran. it was segreagated, people used racial slurs like it was candy. it was a very right wing nut turf jfk visited - to this very day the people who hate him lamely offer up the " commie did it all by hisself" nonsense.

I'd love to see the evidence that proves just one theory. I am sufficiently confident with my ego. I don't have a necessity to be right all the time.
