@bomanio1 I used to but haven't in quite a while. There's not hunting in the forest. So I'd have to find someone to let me use their property.

The few times I have gone out caching with my Brother, the clue was very important in finding the target. He refuses to make notes of the clue though. It makes me feel like Sherlock Holms.

@ud45 A clue or well hidden hint in the cache discription is the only way I found some of them. Sometimes I print out the whole page and take with me.

My first two caches I found without a GPS, I used the google map and hints.

Hey I have only done a little tiny bit of geo-cacheing but this is the first I have heard of earth-caches. This is a fantastic idea and makes me want to get involved now. I always thought the little toy goodie thing was a bit too cutesie and as well as a bit dangerous. But the idea of using monther nature as the bounty is a great one.
