My homemade power hacksaw:
new 127w 120 1/min 10,7 Nm motor
hacksawblade about 150mm /6"
cuts on the backstroke
The paint looks much better in reality!

  • Nice and neat work. Could you use sqare bar thick walled or it should be solid bar? Do you have th eplans for this an dwhat is the drop down ratio from the motor to the saw drive?

  • @Naih33 I think you could use a tick walled square bare, maybe i will draw plans for the saw and the speed of the saw drive is 120 rpm, just right for this job!

  • did you use any bushings for the rocker arm and connection rods?

  • @pukiyaman

No, I drilled holes and oil it before each use.

  • What kind of motor are you using?

  • @davidfuchs42
