The televisor in action. New version with audio. This is a short sequence showing my 32-line televisor in action.

Pictures are from The Eurovision Song Contest 1963 hosted by Catherine Boyle. Also seen is Stuart Hood and the winners from Denmark Grethe and Joergen Ingmann.

This was filmed off screen using a Sony Digital Video Camera with 'slow shutter', the picture frequency of the televisor being 12 1/2 Hz. The programme is DVD run through a Pal625/Baird32 signals converter I build i 1999. Each picture is made of 32 lines each consisting of 70 dots - 64 dots for picture and 6 dots black. The televisor is scanning from top left to buttom right - this being the opposite of the original Baird Television System developed by John Logie Baird.
