My buddy's father was driver who's car flipped four times. He wasn't hurt, just sore as Hell.

It was someone else that caused the wreck, a female racer.

Yeah, my father is friends and races with Mike and Ken and was one or two cars behind when this happened. He says that they all thought he was dead but he ended up walking away and was just sore for a few days.

@TopGear20 which would also be heavily frowned upon by all the other racers. Thats a cheap way to pass, while someone else is flipping across the racetrack

@TopGear20 There were many more car behind him I bet and maybe if he chose the track instead he may have make another crash.

@DThaeman Heh, a turbo on a otherwise stock Miata sounds scary... While they do have pretty hard suspension from the factory, there's a lot that could be done with them. The wheels are tiny, though...

I've actually been looking at different options because of turbo lag... Ahhhh there's so many options and so much money to be put into it. I'll have to choose what to do after a lot more research.

@MadSceve I had a turbo on my 1.6L.. it doesnt kick in until 4,000 and makes the car completely unstable. i wish i did stiffening, brakes, wider wheels, and suspension first...

if you dont like turbo lag, i have heard good things about coldside superchargers ;-)

@DThaeman You just made a completely different argument than the original one... I do agree that they have tiny engines, which is why I'm going to be putting a big turbo on mine as soon as I get the money. They are built to handle extremely well, though. And they do that.

Haha no, a V8 Miata is not gay at all. However unpractical it makes the car.
