I've heard many guitarists, and for me Mr. Romero is the most musical and poetic of all, right up there with Segovia; I think Romero is more technically brilliant. His guitar always sounds mellow and singing. Some will prefer the harder, more flashy sounds of others.  This performance of "Leyenda" is stunning and so very musical.

Я его видела и слушала в Москве .Впечатление на всю жизнь.Звучали произведения по просьбе слушателей.Зал взрывался .Никто не хотел уходить.Концертное выступление состоялоялось в зале консерватории им.П. И. Чайковского. Мой внук под впечатлением окончил муз. школу по классу гитары с отличием.

I guess (puleknow) is the foremost authority on classical guitar. Strange I don't see any videos of him playing this piece. As they say, ignorance is bliss.

As always, any time Pepe touches the guitar it is beautiful!
