My mom has a black cat (Bombay) and he's so cute and sweet and very funny. His name is Salem. And I'm adopting one too, a black kitten that is, Micky O'Flanagan, I love his personality, he likes to play and rough house, yet he's quiet , which is perfect for my home. :-)
Both Salem and Micky are very sweet and my Micky is VERY affectionate and loving. All he wants to do is love you up and be loved, and he even coos, not chirps, but coos, it's so cute. And he enjoys to watch the tv-computer monitor, often when I put those cat entertainment videos on or videos of other cats meowing. It's adorable to watch him react, and yet he tries to stay there in his seat. He's a little gentlemen.

@tenshimoon Oh yes, for some strange reason-perhaps due to the good luck- black cats are in fact the sweetest of cats (or at least to their owners for sure). I just got mine today, and he's been in my lap a few times on his own and just the most affectionate cat ever.
