The media and big name reviewers hated this film I don't know why though it's easily in my top 10 favorite movies of all time.

Ugh, this movie fails on so many levels: screen time devoted to pointless characters who die or disappear; clueless script with characters who make no sense and just do what the script tells them to; junk abt Anne's stage career and Driscoll's play (you know a great guy's film has been rewritten by women when a tough as nails seamen becomes a moping playwright). Apart from the creatures, a big boring dud. Even the '76 version is sharper and more entertaining than this bloated crap.

Dude I'm only telling you this because I care. Your voice is REALLY annoying. It sounds like your doing yoga at the same time as reviewing. For your audiance sake, I'd try tor improve on it. Try to sound more like you care. Nevertheless I really like your review. Especially they way you introduced Peter Jackson with his previous work and gave some good and bad examples of remakes. But seriously, your voice is a cut-off factor.

Cause it's silly looking somtimes. I meant to say that in my previous post, but accidentally hit the wrong button. And yea it deserved the award for best visual effects in 2005.

Very good review. I liked the movie. I enjoyed both. But somtimes I will laugh at the original version of Kong himself sometimes.
