G.K. Chesterton's "The Surprise"

Our church put on a production of G.K. Chesterton's little seen play, "The Surprise" and I thought it would be interesting for Chesterton fans to be able to watch it, because his plays and writings are often hard to find. I hope you enjoy! (I apologize for the sometimes shaky camera work.)There is a short opening introducing the characters and the play, and then the play starts. There are nine parts in all and I will upload all of them as soon as possible,

@Chesterton7 Thanks for commenting! Sorry, I never check my mail, so I didn't see this until now. Sorry the quality isn't better, this is one of the first times we filmed plays at my church. I wish I could see it done by a professional theater, I so much enjoyed being in it. We're thinking of doing his play "Magic" this Easter, so stay tuned! ;-)

@Chesterton7 I'm glad you enjoyed it. We did stage Magic before this one and filmed it but unfortunately the quality is very poor since it was filmed a long time ago and it's not on our computers at this point. However we have a married couple who have it memorized and want to star, so keep checking. Also I'll probably post it on TUMCDrama when it happens, probably next Easter.

@Chesterton7 When we do it again we have lots better cameras and filming methods so it should be more fun to watch. We've also tossed around the idea of filming it as a movie, so we'll see if we can get that to work. :-)

Huge GKC fan. Dale Alhquist is giving a talk at my city soon so I am hoping to catch that. I have noticed a gaining interest in GKC in the last year as measured by videos about him on youtube. Any thoughts on that?
