@tripovermyego, I'm sure location is a factor, but even if the split is 50/50 in Texas, you have to realize it's more like 90/10 in all of the nrothern states. In fact, dealerships in all of the northern states don't even stock 2wd Jeeps. Same thing is true for the Toyota 4Runner. You have to special order a 2wd 4Runner in all northern states. The only place you'll even see 2wd versions in Texas and Florida.

@EvenSteven2004 I see just as many 2wheel drive Jeeps for sale as I do 4wheel drive. Depends on what part of the country you live. Texas, there are alot of 2wheel drive trucks and SUVs. Ive never lived in Texas but when I was in the Army, we had a unit move from Texas to Colorado and just about every truck and yes Jeeps that came with them were 2wheel drive.

@tripovermyego, 4wd Jeeps outnumber 2wd by about 8 to 1. I'm not sure where you're getting your numbers.

@EvenSteven2004 Actually, there are about the same amount of 2wheel drive Jeeps as there are 4wheel drive. I have yet to see a 2wheel drive Wrangle but have seen plenty of 2wheel drive Grand Cherokees. I own a 03 GC 4.0 with the selec-trac and I love it
