Im 33. Grew up in church, but stopped going. Why? Back in my wild days, i saw the fights among "sinners" on Saturday night in the clubs. But i was looking for something different on Sun. morning, only to see the same type of fighting among the "saints" in the church on Sunday. 10 yrs later, I SEE YOU CHURCH PEOPLE ARE STILL AT IT! I will pass on ur "religion". No thanks! All this hate, name-calling and fighting. People are hungry, but we are not being fed. People REALLY DO pay attention to you

@soul2178 Amen brother, I totally agree with you. However, don't let people keep you from God. Just build that one on one relationship with Him directly and leave the rest of the foolishness behind you and you'll be okay. God bless you man!

@soul2178 So that is why it is so important for us to pray for one another, and try to live the way the Lord want for us to live. Remember stuff went on in Jesus time also. But he kept doing what the Father wanted for him to do. And the same goes for us. We can't get so rapped up what others are or not doing. Let us do our part to serve God and do our best to draw others to HIM. I see things too that goes on, but my prayers is Lord change me, help me to be in HIS will. Focus on JESUS sweetie

@jesspraise35 Hi. I get ur point about answering for myself at judgment time. BUT, when we gon' hold the church accountable for what they do? The church is charged with the duty of bringing others to Christ...not to be saved & simply look pretty on Sundays while judging & fighting. And it will be at judgment when God will ask "Have you caused your brother to fall?" And honestly, I can overlook it (sometimes), but what about the babe in Christ who is turned away by what he sees the church doing?

@soul2178 I understand what your saying, but the church is suppose to be a place to get help FROM GOD. It is a place for sick people to get healed FROM GOD. I'm telling you from experience, stop looking at people and look to GOD!!! Don't let nothing keep you away from GOD. At church or not its about your relationship with GOD. When you stand before him you stand for yourself not for what people did or did not do. Its not about a "religion" its about your soul with GOD!!
