SYNOPSIS: Education For A Sustainable Future presents information on how today's practices in schools are socially unsustainable. The documentary film critically analyses what is considered socially relevant in a new education system which brings out the most potential in all of humanity whilst also detailing specific educational methods from a wide range of sources on how to nurture social skills, critical thinking techniques and a larger variety of important practices to positively reinforce from our earliest years onwards. It must be recognised that a sustainable education is one of the most critical components of any advanced society.

Education For A Sustainable Future is an independent film production and has been uploaded online for free download and distribution. The views expressed in this documentary are not necessarily shared by the originators of source material presented.

Love the video, but I really dislike the narration. I find it hard to listen to. Can't you get someone with a nice voice to do the voice-over?

Haha - we don't really like the sound of our voices either - but there is no one else to help out. Future films probably won't contain our voices and will contain interesting interviewees instead, so stay tuned because this film is actually going to be updated with lots and lots of interviewees to back up our points.

The film was actually given to us by a mysterious group of intelligent beings from another solar system. We believe they put together all of these video clips themselves from various video archives on Earth and some how replicated the human voice for some convincing narration. The last word they uttered to us was "sustainability" - then off they went.

So you admit that this "sustainable development" scheme is tyranny and that freedom is not something we should strive for. Nice. Hey at least you can admit it, everyone else is in denial of the control mechanisms being set up.

jake. Nature/Earth/the Universe is a dictatorship. There is no vote to wether there is a tidal wave tomorrow or if the planet jolts out of its trajectory and turns to a crisp. We are all at the mercy of her whims. No system in place today takes any consideration into the fact that we do not control the very systems we depend on for life. When you come to terms with that you might begin to realize almost everything you do effects everyone else, making the "freedom" you 'think' you have moot.

Well, I salute your time spent, but the key to a better education system that will be sustainable in the future (when there's more to learn), is to cut down the amount of time needed to learn X amount. We should be having memory-competition winners and the smart people who write the journals as teachers over the internet (just watch videos of all the greatest educators, the greatest educators use voice, tone, body language etc to communicate a concept). A factory must always make more with less.
