i think women should have a choice in how they how they choose to help her other half. some women may want to stay at home and some my want to help financially. however the woman was essentially created as a helper for her man. how she chooses to do so should be thouroghly discussed and in turn fully understood.

And that 50/50 stuff ,you can throw that out the window. It will never be a 50/50 thing. Ive been blessed enough to still be married after 11 years to a wonderful husband. But there were times when as the wife I had to do what I had to do and could not wait on him to make a move for me. I had to take the reigns and make that move for myself and the kids. So once again when you say the you want your wife to stay home YOU as a MAN must except the responsiblilty that comes along with it.

The truth is in the past the woman's place was in the home because the husband was the only breadwinner and back then husbands were real men and accepted the responsibilty of being the provider and protector. Men of those days are a rare breed now. Now it is a must that both parental guides have to work. Now unless you balling ( in the legal stand point) and let's be real majority of black men are NOT, Then hell yeah I'll stay home if you can properly provide for the family.

personally i don't like that women are limited to the household because there are no excitements or mind stimulating work being done. Me i can't do it because i like to work and move up in my career. the woman shouldn't be subjegated to the house because there is more in this world than just taking care of a home...there is college and other things that could help her self image and as well as the house...i just believe in education and having a career.. :) there's more to this life.
