This is an awesome Cobra. I know the current owner who lives in Dallas, Texas. He took me for a short ride out on the Dallas freeway. Accelerating beyond the speed limit a few times, the raw power of the 427 engine was amazing.

WOW YOU GOT TO LOVE THEM COBRAS.

I am looking for a specific Cobra that I almost purchased back in 1985, in Arizona. It had a heart-shaped hood scoop. Have you ever heard of a Cobra with a heart-shaped hood scoop? To my understanding, there were only 7 built. It was aluminum.

@stunnerable I dunno, If you have a 1 of 3 very rare cars I don't know how often you would be driving it as hard as you could, especially if you're wallets really deep in it. but then again if you're quite literally made of money then it doesn't matter. perhaps its what caroll wants, but if you break all 3 cars driving them hard there will be none left, don't know if caroll wants that.

@aleks6989 I would drive that thing as hard as I could and track it as often as possible. Thats what it was made for and thats what Caroll would want.

I wasn't sure they still had CSX chassis at Shelby. I knew they did.

You can get a 427 cobra from Shelby right now all brand new with a csx number with a fiberglass or aluminum body. Complete cars are pushing 140,000 plus.
Lots of other replica makers out there as good or better(ERA) than Shelby's new ones with out the crazy price markup. I own an ERA 427.

I love Caroll Shelby! Why couldn't have they make more Cobras? I'm not into autographs, but it would be so cool to have a Cobra signed by him.
