A new video out is promising to take down the New York Stock Exchange website it's called "Operation Invade Wall Street". If the video is real, then what they're planning is another DDOS attack which is essentially the same tactics that Anonymous used to briefly take down PayPal and MasterCard. We'll discuss if DDOS attacks are legal or not with Harvard Kennedy School's Nicco Mele.

  • DDOS is a sit in when the LOIC is used. If everyone does it voluntarily, its a form a speech.

  • The violent fascist pigs were ordered by their corporate masters to commit crimes against our country. The shitting Wall Street crooks are frightened that America is finally rising up.

  • Well technically, a protest isn't legal if it disrupts business and such.

  • Is it wrong that I immediately thought of Arby 'n' the Chief when I heard Microsoft Mike?

  • @enlightenedone676 Too bad that's impossible. Hitting with LOIC will only attack your proxy. Learn something before calling everyone idiots.

  • You guys talk about anonymous like anonymous has a leader and if you're in it everyone will do this. only the person who decided to do this because, that one person decided it was a good idea. Anonymous isn't a group of hackers or cyber terrorist they're a group of people who strictly believe in the first amendment.

    We are Anonymous.

    We are Legion.

    We do not forgive.

    We do not forget.

    Expect us.

  • What a country! a HOMELESS GUY DDoSing a site, obviously he owns a computer!

  • THEY HAVE A MORAL POINT DONT KNOW ABOUT "LEGAL"

  • youtube.com/watch?v=sNkO8B0y81s proof anonymous is not supporting this

  • A DDOS is not necessarily a form of free speech. If all of the participants are voluntary participants, then yes. But if malware of some sort is forcing computers to join the DDOS without the knowledge or permission of the owners of the computers, than it is a crime.
