Germans lost the War because they had Moe Howard of the three stooges in charge and Goering the Blimp who didn't give a rats ass about anything but hunting and his stolen art collection.If the Wehrmacht Generals had their plans worked out and the Luftwaffe held the skies, maybe we would all be speaking German, and concidering how Fucked Up this World is today, maybe that wouldn't have been such a bad thing.

I don't care what anyone say's . Germany at the time had one of the world's best militaries but the political leadreship was bullshit . The men on the ground were mostly soldiers fallowing orders given to them by a very bad government with a crazy ass leader !

@Rockopeetzee I doubt the generals would have conquered the world. Most of the generals opposed invading Russia and many of them even opposed invading France. Besides, Hitler overruled his generals who wanted to retreat during the first soviet counterattack and he ended up being right. As well, Operation Zitadelle was conceived and prepared entirely within the general staff and it turned out terribly. The Wermacht had many solid strategists and tacticians but it was not unerring.

@thenoobfactor Maybe.. but I think with more knowledge of this worldwide they may have been pressured to change policies, and alot of Generals were uneasy with such treatments... as noted by many Generals on the Eastern front were disgusted at the treatment of POW's but said nothing in fear of losing either their commision etc. Today's world look at Korea, China, and Mideast.. nobody really cares anymore.

@JuergenGDB. had the germans had their way they would have murdered so many more, not to mention everyone else in the conqured areas would have to live under an opressive regime. Jews were not the only people they deemed inferior, they would have moved on to slavics and many russians, not to mention when they counqured africa and the middle east.

@thenoobfactor Genocide my friend was not only with the Germans, but with the Russians, Japanese, and after WWII concluded Russian was still killing people. China as well commited mass atrocities after WWII and no one did shit. Communism killed more of its own people in WWII then I think the entire war combined.

What a load of rubbish(T-26 Ha Ha). Intelligence beat the Germans along with Bletchley Park breaking of the enigma code and tens of 1,000's of T34's.

Yeah, I'm sure that's true too. T-26 only has so light cannon that I'm not sure if it can penetrate even pz-III. T-26 couldn't at least affect much to the outcome. But there was of course heavy Russian KV-1 and KV-2 in Kursk.
