Socialism is present in every nook and cranny in modern America.

Look at sarah palin's history in Alaska. palin is a socialist superstar. Look at mccain's suspension of his campaign to champion the first bailout....That is socialism.

So, you either have the dem's with socialistic ideas or you have the reps with socialistic, fascistic ideas (nazism).

If socialism is our future, I would prefer it without fascism.

people always argue that Palin was a socialist. All she did was return stolen money from oil companies, that is not socialism. I would certainly say conservatives are not socialist, some republicans, one could argue, have liberal leanings. I don't think what John McCain did allows you to stereotype all republicans, most conservatives hated the fact that the GOP picked him over someone like Huckabee or Romney.

socialism generally leads to fascism so if most republicans are not socialistic then they're very likely not fascists. Generally fascism is a belief in government but as far as I see it Reagan advocated low government and individuality.
