Eyal was teaching an Air Marshal Instructors' and Fighters' Course at the base of the Counter Terror Unit of Serbia, so we took the opportunity and asked him for some footage.
The technique - Here is a civilian version for defending a straight knife stab. Meaning, after the technique of eliminated the immediate threat one is moving away from danger zone. Technique includes: hand defense on wrist or palm of attacker, with a sliding motion fwd; body defenses, clearing the channel of attack; keeping contact and grabbing the forearm while delivering the first counter attack; finishing mode with additional counter and leaving the danger zone while scanning the area.

@V67850 if you're grabbed by a wrestler, and you just "don't give them support" they'll be more than happy. They don't lean into you and don't need any support. Just not giving support isn't a solution.

Systema is BS throughout. Sure, there will be reasonable pieces - they fight standing up, after all, not hanging from a tree or something, that's quite reasonable already. But that is about as reasonable as Systema gets.

Problems with Krav Maga : 1) VERY VERY technique heavy thousands of techniques a different one for any type of hold or grab, knife attack, etc. Many unrelated e.g. defending against sticks or clubs spear around hand defence to block it, other ones grabbing weapon, etc = lot different too much to think about in real fight! 2) NEVER EVER seen even one great Krav Maga guy - as in amazing attributes - speed, power, etc = why do you think that is??? KM won't make you great! Not possible.
