I used to love this, watched it all the time when I was lil' the animations were always great, I think this is what made me more of a visual learner.

But I remember one specific episode I always hated.

I remember them reading "Jack and the Beanstalk" and the whole story was done in stop-mo, but the giant was freaking terrifying! can't find that part, I wanted to see if it was really as scary as I remember (most likely not) but still, a great show.

I was 8 in 1992 and was totally in love with sophie and as i was in juniors in 1992 obviously couldnt watch it but my mum used to tape it on wednesday at 11am if i remember rightly I have this whole video and watched it over and over again sophie was my true childhood love!. a few years ago i met her at a dr who conventsion and that was fab but bless her this was 1992 and now she's married and has kids, but i will always remeber watching stuart and nutmeg the cat in 1989 and b4 that charlie.
