What does rotoscoping actually mean?
Couldn't you just shoot it on green sreen and then simply put it together in adobe after effects?

you could have just traced the guy for every frame and then use the bucket tool to fill in the inside with black.

It was cool, but I was hoping to get an explanation of how the actual rotoscoping was done. It seems that part of the process was skipped in the tutoria and we went from filming the subject to positioning the already rotoscoped animation. What was done inbetween?
