With the popular "How it Should Have Ended" series here on YouTube, I've thought about starting one of my own: "How It Should Have Begun".
I think I can count with one hand the number of animated programs and movies that credited the voice actors in the introduction/title video. I don't know if that's an industry "standard" imposed by the production companies and/or the voice actors syndicate/guild, or even if the dubbing in other languages would have made it irrelevant, but as I grew up watching cartoons AND live action shows, I always wondered:
Why don't they credit the voice actors at all? Why is it that the end credits just show a list of names under the titles of "Voices" or "Starring"? What gives here? Did no one want to take a little time to add the credits, and then change them for each dubbing team in other languages? It's really easy to do, you know, even before the age of digital editing.
Well, now that I've recently acquired Adobe Premiere Pro, I'll be uploading the title videos of selected cartoons, with the credits of the voice actors, as I think it should have been done.
These are the people who breathed life into characters we grew up with and loved/hated, and no one should throw the credit of their talent on the back end of the show, as it has been done for countless years.
This is also a tribute to the voice actors who have sadly passed away.
First off, the Get Along Gang intro. What would the introduction have looked like if they had included the credits to the voice actors?
Sorry about the poor quality, but my source video wasn't that great.

Well, it's not a trailer, it's just a re-do of the opening of the cartoon.
