02 Yours Is No Disgrace Part 2

EDIT: I get tons of emails asking me for a DVD of this show. There has never been any official release of this gig,

but there are two unofficial DVDs. One of them has the full concert but with a bad soundmix and not very good camera

angles but it's quite widespread among Yes fans. The other one, the source of these clips, is not the full show but

has sound mixed by Trevor Rabin and well cut video, presumably ready for a video release which never happened. You

can get both in the Trading Room at YesFans.com, THE forum for every true fan of Yes OR you can download them as

I Love all these guys. To see it as Steve vs Trevor makes zero sense to me. Both are different and incredible. It's not a competition, it's a performance by master musicians. This tour was magical.

Well said sir.. For me, the point of this is to illustrate a diversity of individual manner. Each musician is in their own right an equal contributor to the overall sum of the group.

As great as Trevor is, I think his solo was a ridiculous, over the top attempt to liven up the sing. Didn't do justice to the spirit of the music at all.

HOWEVER IF YOU CHECK OUT VIDS FROM THE 9012 TOUR (1984) HE DID A GOOD JOB THERE WERE STILL MOMENTS OF TAPS BUT NEARLY AS BLATANT ON YOURS IS NO DICGRACE. BOTTOM LINE RABIN WAS NO CHUMP BUT,

@TheZman1963 I always hated "tapping" on the guitar. It's such a cheap technique. Never liked van halen at all. A lot of people think it's impressive, but they don't know any better.
