Thats what I was getting at, my dad said the 4x4 would need to be taxed for it to be legal although I think he was asuming it was council land.

Mostly clay, rock and sand, there are some really sticky areas, but just take it easy, and make sure your with someone else, just in case!

it's common land, but some of it has been donated to a motorcycle association, there's some confusion as to the legal status in regard to driving there
