@apgs01 Well if it was a re-enactment, it was a re-enactment of a frowned upon hunting method. It also implies it was a re-enactment of something that actually occurred, so those people responsible are still dicks.

Did you not see the part where the 'dressed' moose was loaded in the boat?

Gee, the first rule of hunting is seeing your target and beyond, you also want a good shot so the animal doesn't suffer, and you need to be able to dress and move your harvest. Does your "jet boat" have a wench?

If just every hunter would shoot moving game in water from moving platforms I'm sure we would have a lot less, or maybe even eliminate the risk of poor hits, and less animals would suffer.
To actually have to walk and search for the game without any motorized vehicles to distract them is clearly not hunting and therefore it is for retards.
Maybe we should just use helicopters with mounted machine guns. Now THAT would be hunting.

As far as i see it you are poching using a vehicular device to catch wild game . it the same as hunting of a highway. your using a boat to gain ground on your hunt. go on foot next time and make it a challenge

@Harrysativa Did you not see the part where the narrator said they had been hunting for 7 days in the woods? This re-enactment of the event that occurred was as they were getting ready to leave camp. The boat was going upstream to pickup some other members of the party when the opportunity occurred.

Wow. How great ethics. They're shooting a moving target, from a moving platform while its in the water, and they say: "I can't see why people say, not to shoot them in the water".
This is like the recipe on how to not risk wounding the animal and prolonging it's slow and painful death.
