My paragliding instructor got his microlight pilot's license and is now accumulating flight hours in Barbados for his instructor's license.
I just can't seem to get enough of this flying as this is my third time out in four days :D
The winds were being funny today, due to bad weather out in the Atlantic, coming from the opposite direction than they normally do. We usually get an Easterly wind, but today was Westerly. So this meant we had to take off from the 'wrong way' and go around the Southern part... a very rare experience!
We departed from the local airport - Grantley Adams International, and headed directly to South Point lighthouse, not far away, and then turned left to the South to make our way back for landing.
The flight was so short, that I got take-off, flight, and landing in one shot!
I must say, the footage for this video is incredible!
Enjoy!

  • A simply awesome video and incredible footage as you say! I must try a similar flight next time I fire up Flight Simulator X :)

Great views of the island, and thanks for pointing out the landmarks.
