@toutagamon Oh, you dont know it seems. I'm talking about Physics and Physx.. Physics is a feature widely used in gaming.. Physx is a physic engine within the Nvidia GPU to take advantage of Physic games that can use Physx. Crysis 2 will use Physx and a standalone costum version of Physics. The difference between Physics and Physx depends on the game's engine.. Bad company 2 use Havok Physics where objects vanish after an explosion. Mafia 2 use Physx, where objects is being torn and never vanish

You either don't read what I am saying or you don't want to understand.

The CPU is slower, because Nvidia has made it so. It keeps PhysX single threaded and running X87 instructions instead of SSE. PhysX on CPU COULD be as much as 10X faster. The same is for Mafia and anything GPU PhysX related.

I refuse to play Nvidia's game. I got my 460 because it was a great card, irrelevant to what Nvidia is trying (and succeeding as I see) to shove down people's throats.

@toutagamon In gaming, the CPU or the GPU can render Physics.. Physx makes it possible for the GPU to render Physics instead of the CPU (sure there is a performance hit, but the GPU renders Physics in gaming MUCH faster). For instance, the difference can be huge. 1-5 fps when the CPU is rendering Physics, and 60 fps+ when the Physx is enabled on the Nvidia GPU.. That's how it works. We all know it.. Play Mafia 2 with High Physx and you'll change your mind and see how amazing it can be.
