GREAT! This is Big Joe Roberts first big part in a Buster film...the first was that tiny part in One Week. Its fun to see Buster do his old vaudeville act, the ball on a rope..the first guy he hits is Joe Keaton, his father, ah memories! Love seeing Joe Keaton's high kicks--also from the stage act. Buster's little brother, Harry "Jingles" Keaton, is the little guard that Big Joe knocks out. It has been a blast seeing a little bit of Buster's old family vaudeville act. Thanks.

Thank you providing some insight on this great little short! Buster really did like to keep things all in the family - IMDB lists Buster's sister Louise as a cast member in this film as well. I believe she was also an inmate - see if you can spot her! Buster's co-director Edward Cline even makes an appearance as the hangman, which thankfully is not an allusion to his impact on Buster's career!
