I agree. I love hearing her speak. What a beautiful voice.

fantastic song! i'm hearing it, and this album, now for the first time. i think the full band serves her well here, just as on the "season of lights" live album from 1977. that band also had a great guitarist, john tropea, as well as bassist richard davis, and they cooked. got it a week ago and i'm lovin it!

Where the hell would Patti Smith be without Ms. Laura Nyro??!!??

Heres the trick. You can convert this vid to an audio mp3 file at a site called audioripit daht cahm. (This wouldn't post unless I misspelled daht cahm).

That bass playing is funky as hell.

@Buckspring95 That's Jimmy Vivino. He's Conan's bandleader now that Max is gone.

It's the BEST arrangements of all of her great tunes! Someone should post
"Stoned Soul Picnic" from this album, the best arrangement EVER...the guitar
work is incredible...

Nice to hear this on u tube and the lack of visual is not important to me. This cd has not been re-ssued. When I bought it it was because I am a huge fan and every time I hear the cd I wish I could chare it so having this on here is important. Laura's music should be there to share.
